To be honest, I didn't know readline support was possible - looking at it now |

FWIW, readline support is pretty much a defacto standard for any *ix appplication that supports interactive input. |

PHP 5.3.28 (cli) (built: May 17 2014 15:53:55) fixes interactive mode and readline support for the cli mode php. The cgi mode php.exe is still not doing interactive mode properly. |

Yeah I enabled readline, I guess I only tested with the cgi version, so didn't notice it had helped the cli version. |

PHP 5.3 is EOL - please test with newer PHP |
