0000535 | CUPS for OS/2 & eComStation | Bug | public | 2012-04-21 14:30 | 2020-08-24 03:13 |
Reporter | John H. Lindsay | Assigned To | psmedley
Priority | normal | Severity | minor | Reproducibility | always |
Status | closed | Resolution | won't fix
Platform | MSI AMD | OS | eCS | OS Version | 2.1 |
Summary | 0000535: CUPS installation always installs on boot partition/volume
Description | In the .wpi installation, there is no option to select the partition in which to install. One has to install using the .zip files (fact (key to me and perhaps only a few others) not reflected in the How To file or other documentation).

sorry - the warpin isn't created by me - I'll point Alex Taylor (who created the warpin) to this ticket and see what he thinks |
|
btw whilst cups will insist on being installed off the root partition, there's no need at all for it to be on the boot drive. btw2 just to confirm - which .wpi are you using - there is one for 1.3.x by pete Brown, and 1.4.x by Alex Taylor |
|
It's 1.4.8 . |

Warpin packages are not created by me. Please take this up with the creator of the WPI's. |
