Looks like the same essential error I get: e:\programs\gnash[0]gnash.exe "super dude_home.swf" Killed by SIGSEGV pid=0x00a8 ppid=0x007d tid=0x0008 slot=0x00b2 pri=0x0200 mc=0x0001 E:\PROGRAMS\GNASH\GNASH.EXE GCC433 0:00008110 cs:eip=005b:1a348110 ss:esp=0053:045dfeec ebp=045dff34 ds=0053 es=0053 fs=150b gs=0000 efl=00012206 eax=00000006 ebx=00000020 ecx=00a80002 edx=2003013c edi=00000021 esi=2057a120 Process dumping was disabled, use DUMPPROC / PROCDUMP to enable it. I tried with the February 25 release and it is fine. Also, I was able to download this swf from: wget "http://www.physicsofsuperheroes.com/super dude_home.swf" but with gnash: Could not load movie 'http://www.physicsofsuperheroes.com/super dude_home.swf' This is with either build that it isn't able to pull the swf. Maybe the space? |

Hallo Buck, have done addtional test with the URL with blank in string I have replaced the Bland by % 2 0 without the bland between. gnash.cmd http://www.physicsofsuperheroes.com/super%20dude_home.swf Gnash runtime output produced: OS/2 Strg+Esc = Fensterliste HELP = Hilfe [S:\download\os2\Gnash\B20090225]sdl-gnash http://www.physicsofsuperheroes.com/super0dude_home.swf RcInitFile: couldn't open file: s:\Home_SDL/.gnashrc Could not load movie 'http://www.physicsofsuperheroes.com/super0dude_home.swf' second test with gnash.cmd "http://www.physicsofsuperheroes.com/super%20dude_home.swf" no difference Bug in OS/2 Command Processor? %2 ist interperted as 2nd parameter of the command processor call Result %2 does not have a value assigned --> zero length string No but, it is a feature -:) this call runs with the b20090225 build gnash.cmd "http://www.physicsofsuperheroes.com/super%%20dude_home.swf" Next Test with B20090305 Built Ouput: [S:\]set GNASH_HOME=Home_Gnash [S:\]SET LIBPATHSTRICT=T [S:\]SET BEGINLIBPATH=S:\download\os2\libc063;S:\download\os2\sdl\V1-2-10-20080804\sdl;s:\download\o s2\gcc433; [S:\]SET SDL_USE_PROPORTIONAL_WINDOW=1 [S:\]SET SDL_USE_TIMECRITICAL_AUDIO=1 [S:\]set HOME=s:\Home_SDL [S:\]s: [S:\]cd \download\os2\Gnash\B20090305 [S:\download\os2\Gnash\B20090305]sdl-gnash "http://www.physicsofsuperheroes.com/super%20dude_home.sw f" it does run without dump - why??? In my installation and in your it dumps? Difference is local file to URL parameter. is it relevant? redo test with os2.swf lcoal --> dump error is reproduceable Now a test with os2.swf via URL: It does run , no dump conclusion: sdl-gnash dumps oly with parameter - local file - kind regards form Germany Rainer |

I should have mentioned I tried: sdl-gnash.exe http://www.physicsofsuperheroes.com/super%20dude_home.swf and got: Could not load movie 'http://www.physicsofsuperheroes.com/super.swf' |
|
Hallo Buck, can you test sdl-gnash.exe http://www.physicsofsuperheroes.com/super%%20dude_home.swf What version of OS/2 and command processor do you run? kind regards Rainer |

With the 2nd % I get a black screen that stays up but never does anything. I typically use 4os2 but also just tested to the same result with cmd. Ahh, but with cmd I use: sdl-gnash http://www.physicsofsuperheroes.com/super%20dude_home.swf and that does work. Andy |
